About Judo

Judo is a Martial Art created by Jigorō Kanō in 1882 in Tokyo, Japan. It is a modern derivation of Jujutsu, an Olympic sport, and an excellent physical education method.

We count with the top Grand Master Lucio Farías, who counts with over 56 years of experience training Martial Artists, including Judo for competition level.

Budousa is committed to the Martial Arts culture and education by providing knowledge, training, and fair promotions to all Martial Artists.

Judo is one of the most effective Martial Arts today. This Martial Art is practiced on the tatami (mat) and includes throwing techniques (nage-waza) and ground techniques (ne-waza).
